Our very first Sonaari Festival was a big leap for us, and that’s exactly why we wanted to hear how you experienced it. We’ve analyzed the feedback survey, and the comments were not only heartwarming but also incredibly valuable for shaping the next edition.
The overall rating you gave Sonaari was an impressive 9.36 out of 10. Half of all respondents gave the festival a full ten, and nearly everyone rated it at least an eight. For a debut year, this is an extraordinary sign that the spirit and atmosphere of the event landed exactly where we hoped.
The atmosphere was mentioned more than anything else. Many of you described the vibe as “amazing,” “lovely,” and even “one of the best music experiences” you’ve had. This comment captured it beautifully:
“I’ll come next summer just for the vibe alone.”
The location also received exceptional praise. Enonsaari felt just as special to many of you as it does to us. Its natural beauty, openness and the way the stages blended into the surroundings created an atmosphere where it was easy to relax and enjoy the music. As one respondent wrote:
“The place is unique, and the good energy was visible both in the crowd and in the performers.”
There were plenty of things you felt we did well: the overall setup of the area, the stage design, the music programme and the fact that you could bring your own drinks and snacks. Our marketing and the strong turnout also surprised many in a positive way.
The survey also highlighted a few areas for improvement, and we’re already working on solutions for next summer. The ferry transport needed smoother operations and clearer communication, especially when leaving the island. We will be addressing timetables, guidance and peak‑hour arrangements well ahead next time. Many also wished for more freedom to move between stages with a drink in hand, so we are actively exploring options to improve this. Food variety and pricing are also things you want to see improved. These are straightforward adjustments we can make. And finally, several respondents hoped for more lights and visuals around the festival grounds, and these upgrades are already being planned.
Your programme wishes painted a clear picture as well: trance, tech trance, techno, hard techno, hardstyle and house featured heavily among your preferences, alongside both international name suggestions and a desire to see more emerging Finnish artists. At the same time, many of you reminded us that while big artists are great, the most important thing at Sonaari is the shared atmosphere.
Overall, your feedback tells us one thing very clearly: The first Sonaari succeeded in exactly the way we hoped. The atmosphere, the location and the people created an experience we can all return to year after year. And thanks to your comments, we know exactly how to make next summer’s Sonaari even better.
See you at Sonaari 2026. ❤️✨
