When and where was Sonaari 2026?
17–18 July 2026 on Enonsaari Island in Lahti. The information on this page applies to the 2026 event.
What was the age limit?
The festival was for ages 18 and over.
How did visitors reach the island?
Enonsaari is reached by water. The official 2026 festival boat was M/S Suomen Neito from Lahti Harbour. Transport, harbours and contact information.
Could visitors bring food and drinks?
Small amounts of personal picnic food and non-alcoholic drinks were permitted. The island, except the camping area, was a licensed serving area.
What food and drink services were available?
Restaurant Fellmannia provided food and drinks. The published 2026 opening times were Friday at 12:00 and Saturday and Sunday at 09:00. Friday and Saturday service ended at 01:00.
What kind of music was played?
The two stages featured trance, techno, house and harder electronic sounds. Explore the artists by day.
Could visitors stay on the island?
The separate €20 Camping Pass covered tent or hammock camping and showers from 17 to 19 July 2026. Passes sold out. Festival tickets and boat transfers were purchased separately. GreenStar Hotel Lahti was the mainland hotel partner.
What safety arrangements were there?
First aid was available at the restaurant and information tent. Security staff and the festival team were the points of contact for safety concerns. Respect personal boundaries and consent, and report harassment to staff.
Was the island accessible?
The island has hills, slopes and natural terrain. The pier has a ramp, but some visitors may need an assistant. See Enonsaari accessibility information when assessing the conditions.
Was swimming allowed?
Swimming was at visitors’ own risk. There were no lifeguards.
Was there other programme?
The 2026 advance information listed a glitter station and clothing vendors alongside the music programme.
How much did tickets cost?
The advertised 2026 prices were €79 for the weekend, €20 for camping and €18 per day for the official return boat transfer. Tickets were sold through Biletti. These are not prices for a future event.
What is Sonaari like?
Sonaari brings together electronic music, Finnish lake scenery and a sense of community in an intimate island setting.
